I am fascinated by microscopic images and magnifications of insects and other small items. My prints and drawing focus on ideas of truth in biological images and exploration of invisible or ignored biological worlds. I like to play with the idea of creating my own organisms in a way that feels very studied and official. I try to achieve this by paying close attention to details and creating complex images that reference scientific scans or mounted specimens.
